Flat, dry and without a trace of shine, 3M 2080 DM12 Dead Black is the darkest Matte in the 2080 range. Sun does not raise a reflection out of it; the panel simply absorbs light and shows its shape through shadow alone. In shade it comes close to a void, which makes body lines read as pure silhouette.<\/p>\n
Stealth builds are its natural home: blacked-out sports cars, lowered trucks, military-themed projects, and roofs on gloss-black vehicles for contrast. Fingerprints and fine scratches show less than on gloss, though matte wants gentle washing. The cast film conforms to vents and intakes without the finish going uneven. Dead Black is wrapped by 2wrap in Westlake Village, California and in Weelde, Belgium.<\/p>\n
