Deeper and cooler than cardinal, Orafol 970RA 030G glossy dark red belongs to the wine and oxblood family. In shade it reads almost maroon; under direct sun the Gloss finish lifts a rich, translucent-looking red out of the base, so the car appears to change tone as it moves through the light. It hides minor panel waviness better than a brighter red.<\/p>\n
Luxury sedans, older European coupes and motorcycles with a classic feel suit the color best. The 970RA premium cast is built for multi-year outdoor exposure, and a dark pigment like this needs that stability to stay even over time. We apply it at 2wrap in both the Westlake Village and Belgian studios.<\/p>\n
