Dark, swampy and rich, 3M 2080 S56 Komodo Green in Satin is a deep green with grey and black in the base. In sunlight the satin sheen lifts the green out; in shade it reads almost black-green. It is far from a racing green, closer to the color of a reptile's skin, as the name suggests.
The color works on trucks, 4x4s and on sports cars where the owner wants green without brightness. Large panels and tight recesses are handled alike by 2080 cast film with air-release adhesive, and it lifts off cleanly when the car returns to stock. The Satin finish makes it easier to maintain than a matte. 2wrap's California and Belgian studios both install it.
