Wrapping a Mercedes pace car

2wrap´s premium design team was given the order to create a bespoke design for Mercedes.

The Mercedes-Benz VDH group in Herentals, Belgium asked 2wrap to transform a standard Mercedes GTC into a Formula One pace car using car wrap technology.

2wrap’s design team transformed and elevated the standard Mercedes GTC into the line of Mercedes pace cars. These cars are used by Formula One for track situations during races when speed control of all vehicles is necessary. Such as at the start of the race and during hazardous situations.

The collaboration between the Mercedes Benz VDH group and 2wrap.com resulted in an extremely beautiful, exclusive 3 layered blue-green mixed vinyl design. And during installing, the craftsmen of 2wrap realized an innovative extra visual feature. They created an intake on the side with a transparent shade, so it looks like a deep intake to the bottom.

The spectacular final result was shown during the C-summer event with the launch of Mercedes new C-class models in Herentals, Belgium. During this exciting occasion, organized by the Mercedes-Benz VDH group on the 19 and 20th of June 2021 in an elegant and cozy setting, more than 500 guests enjoyed and celebrated the beautiful cars.

The guests were served delicious foods, drinks and entertained in many ways. You were able to become acquainted with the new Mercedes C-class as well as offered stock promotions and test drives in one of VDH group’s many excellent cars.

The event included several presentations. And as one of the highlights, the very attractive Miss Belgium 2020 Celine Van Ouytsel revealed from under a dark black cover the newly designed pace car with its intriguing exclusive colors.

In January this year, Miss Belgium herself had a bespoke design for her new black Mercedes created. In collaboration with the team of 2wrap, Celine wanted to realize a design that would show a different, spicy side of her. You can read more about the creation here.
