Matte flattens the azure blue into something more technical: Orafol 970RA 197M Matte Azure Metallic reads as a powdery sky blue with a fine metallic shimmer. Direct sun lifts the flake into a soft glow; in shade the surface goes quiet and the colour looks almost pastel. The Matte finish hides light scratches and makes the body look like a single moulded piece.
It is a good match for compact EVs, off-road builds and any car with matte black accents. Being a premium cast film, 970RA stretches cleanly into recesses, and the RapidAir air-release means a clean, bubble-free surface on broad panels. Installed by 2wrap in Westlake Village, California and at our studio in Weelde, Belgium.
