Charcoal without the shine, Orafol 970RA 073M Matte Dark Grey is a dark, cool grey with a flat, velvet-like surface. The Matte finish removes highlights entirely, so body lines appear as gentle shifts in tone rather than crisp reflections; in sun it reads slightly lighter and more textured, in shade it sinks toward an almost-black graphite.
Rugged trucks, modern coupes and tech-company fleets use it for a stealthy, understated look that is easier to keep clean than matte black. Because it is a 970RA cast film, it conforms into deep channels and the RapidAir liner helps keep large flat areas bubble-free. Our Weelde and Westlake Village installers wrap it regularly.
