Solid, flake-free black is the hardest color to get right, because every ripple and every bit of texture shows in the reflection. Inozetek PPF DPPF909 Midnight Black handles it with a High Gloss surface that mirrors like wet paint, with no orange peel and a depth that stays even across large hoods and roofs. In the shade it goes almost liquid; in full sun it throws clean, hard highlights.
The film is colored paint protection film, so the black is not a layer on top of protection but the protection itself, self-healing and chip resistant. Grand tourers, luxury sedans and anything that lives on the freeway suit it. Both 2wrap studios, in California and in Belgium, install it.
