Do's and Don'ts

How often should I wash my vehicle wrap?

Once a week is our basic advice.

Often during driving, dirt and pollutants will stick on your wrap. When you notice this clean the wrap as soon as possible.

A wrap is best hand-washed with a gentle automotive detergent. We sell specific products from all premium brands in our webshop . Visit our online store here

For hand-washing always use an automotive sponge or clean soft cloth.

Rinse your vehicle after washing with clear water.

Use a silicone squeegee to remove water and minimize water spotting

Dry with a clean mirofiber cloth.

Can I bring my wrapped vehicle into a drive-through car wash?

You may bring your wrapped vehicle to an automated brushless car wash. If a car wash uses water spray instead of brushes, it is safe for most wraps.
Brush car washes may be too rough on the film. Degrading it and causing lifted edges and peeling.

What should I use for spot cleaning?
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit. Optio, neque qui velit. Magni dolorum quidem ipsam eligendi, totam, facilis laudantium cum accusamus ullam voluptatibus commodi numquam, error, est. Ea, consequatur.
Can I Pressure Wash my Vehicle Wrap?

To pressure wash your vehicle wrap, keep it below 2,000 psi. Use a spray nozzle with a 40 degree wide angle spray pattern and keep water temperature below 140´F/ 60 ´C. Keep the spray nozzle at least 12´I/30 CM away from the car edges.

How do I clean difficult stains like bird droppings, insects, tree sap, etc ?

Clean difficult stains as soon as possible. Letting them sit for to long may damage your wrap.

Soak the affected area for a few minutes with warm, soapy water to loosen the contaminants. Rinse completely with clear water and dry with a soft microfiber cloth.

For stubborn contaminants, use denatured alcohol. Always test a solution first on a small hidden area to ensure the cleaner will not harm the wrap. Never use solvents or oil based cleaning products!

What can I do about gas or fuel Spills?

Wipe off fuel spills as soon as possible. Then handwash the affected area.
Leaving it for too long will degrade the vinyl.
A quick wipe with a wet paper towel will clean the fuel affected area decently enough until you can do a more rigorous job.

Can I park my vehicle outdoors for long periods?

Extreme long periods under the sun or in other outdoor elements like rain, smog, etc. can degrade the wrap. Specifically on the roof, trunk lid and hood. These horizontal areas are a magnet for pollutants, which are then intensified by UV ray exposure.

Try to park your car in a garage or under a shelter. If you must park it outside for prolonged periods, look for shady parking areas.

My vehicle wrap is turning brown or rust colored. What can I do?

A vehicle wrap turns brown due to prolonged exposure to acid. This is typically a result of neglect. Not cleaning and maintaining as mentioned before.

If you notice brown, discolored, or rust-colored areas on your wrap, it is best to remove the film from your vehicle. This way you prevent damage to the paint beneath it. Just reapply fresh wrap.

What products should I avoid when cleaning my wrap?

DO NOT USE:

-Solvents
-Oil-based cleaners
-Kitchen & Bathroom Cleaners
-Oven cleaner
-Orange Oil
-Engine Degreaser
