Paint protection film is an ultra-thin, self-healing shield for your car's paint. Nearly invisible. Incredibly tough.
Our Nano PPF is 8 mil thick — that’s substantially more than most films on the market. It comes with a built-in nano topcoat, which means you don’t need an additional ceramic coating. Everything’s already included.
It self-heals from light scratches using heat — sun exposure or warm water is enough. The result: your paint stays showroom-fresh, year after year.
Paint protection film protects against stone chips, bug splatter, road salt, bird droppings, and minor abrasions. It’s applied directly to your painted surfaces and, when removed correctly, leaves zero residue.
Based on 25+ years of hands-on experience and our own independent tests, Inozetek is our #1 choice. We do install any other brand on request.
What is Paint Protection Film ?
Paint protection film — also called PPF or clear bra — is a transparent thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) film applied to the painted surfaces of your vehicle.
It’s self-healing: light scratches close on their own when exposed to heat. It’s nearly invisible when installed correctly. And it’s fully removable — without damaging your original paint underneath.
PPF is used on cars, SUVs, exotics, RVs, motorcycles, and even aircraft. Basically anything where the surface is worth protecting.
Why use Paint Protection?
Your car’s paint takes a beating every single day. Stone chips on the highway. Bug acids on the front bumper. Road salt in winter. UV fade over time.
PPF stops all of that before it reaches your paint. It’s a sacrificial layer — it takes the damage so your paint doesn’t have to.
The other reason: resale value. A car with factory-perfect paint consistently sells for more. PPF pays for itself.
What are the advantages of Paint Protection Film?
– Stone chip and scratch resistance — the TPU absorbs impact before it reaches your paint
– Self-healing surface — light swirls and fine scratches disappear with heat
– UV protection — prevents paint fade and yellowing, especially in sunny climates
– Chemical resistance — shields against bird droppings, bug splatter, tree sap, and road salt
– Hydrophobic topcoat — water and dirt sheet off easily, making the car easier to maintain
– Preserved resale value — original paint in perfect condition is worth more
– Fully reversible — remove it cleanly at any time, no paint damage
– Available in gloss, matte, and satin finishes
What's the warranty on PPF
Our primary film — Inozetek — comes with a manufacturer warranty. Coverage includes yellowing, cracking, peeling, and delamination.
High-quality PPF installed by a professional typically lasts 7 to 10 years, depending on how the vehicle is used and maintained.
We stand behind our installations. If something’s wrong, we fix it.
What is the best Paint Protection Film on the market?
We’ve tested multiple brands over 25 years: XPEL, Premium Shield, 3M, and others.
Our current top choice is Inozetek. After our own independent scratch, clarity, and self-healing tests, Inozetek consistently outperformed the competition — especially in topcoat durability and optical clarity. We became an exclusive APEX dealer because we believe in the product, not because of marketing.
That said, we install any brand on request. We’ll always give you our honest opinion.
Some history — where does PPF come from?
Paint protection film was originally developed by the US military during the Vietnam War to protect helicopter rotor blades from debris damage. The film was later adapted for commercial use in the automotive industry.
Today’s PPF is a far cry from those early films. Modern TPU-based PPF is optically clear, self-healing, and engineered to last years without yellowing or lifting. The technology has evolved dramatically — and it keeps getting better.

Why we use Inozetek
We’re not loyal to brands. We’re loyal to quality.
Over the past 25 years we’ve tested every major PPF brand on the market — including XPEL and PremiumShield. We scratched them, exposed them to heat, tested clarity, self-healing, and long-term durability.
Inozetek came out on top. Consistently.
That’s why 2wrap.com is now an exclusive APEX dealer for Inozetek. It’s the film we’d put on our own cars — and it’s what we install on yours by default.
We do install other brands on request. No problem. But if you ask us what’s best? Inozetek.
Inozetek — Our #1 Paint Protection Film
Inozetek produces some of the clearest, most durable PPF available today. 8 mil thickness. Nano topcoat included — no separate ceramic coating needed. Superior self-healing performance and optical clarity that doesn’t fade over time.
Available in high gloss and matte finishes. Backed by a manufacturer warranty.
This is our go-to film for luxury cars, exotics, and anyone who wants the best protection without compromising on looks.
What about XPEL?
XPEL is a well-known brand, and we respect what they’ve built. We’ve installed it. We’ve tested it. And we still offer it on request.
But after running our own independent tests — scratch resistance, self-healing, optical clarity, long-term durability — Inozetek came out ahead. That’s why it’s our standard choice today.
No politics. No brand deals dictating what we recommend. Just results.
Want XPEL specifically? No problem. We’ll install it. But if you ask us what we’d put on our own car — you already know the answer.
