Celine Van Ouytsel Black Panther Design Wrap — Mercedes GLA
When Belgian influencer and model Céline Van Ouytsel came to us for the second time, she already had a bold vision. After the iconic Pink Panther design on her Range Rover Evoque in 2018, she wanted something that reflected her own evolution — more mature, more powerful, more commanding. The result was the Celine Van Ouytsel Black Panther design wrap: one of the most striking custom design wraps we’ve ever created.
From Pink Panther to Black Panther
The Pink Panther wrap was playful and eye-catching — it suited the moment perfectly. But by 2021, Céline had grown into a different phase of her career and personal style. She wanted to keep the panther concept alive, but take it somewhere darker and more sophisticated. We loved the challenge.
The continuity between the two projects made this wrap extra meaningful. It wasn’t just a new design — it was a visual story. A chapter two. The Black Panther became a symbol of confidence and transformation, and every design decision we made was built around that idea.
The Design: Satin Black Meets Gloss Panther Spots
The base of the wrap is a deep satin black — a finish that absorbs light and gives the car a sleek, almost sculptural presence. Over that, we applied subtle glossy black panther spots across the bodywork. The contrast between matte and gloss creates a pattern that shifts and comes alive as light moves across the surface.
From a distance, the car appears to be a uniform deep black. Up close, the texture of the panther spots reveals itself — detailed, deliberate, and quietly dramatic. This kind of two-tone effect within a single color is technically demanding. Every spot had to be precisely cut, positioned, and applied to maintain the flow of the pattern across panels.
The result was a car that demanded a second look without ever being loud. Exactly what Céline had in mind.
Why Custom Design Wraps Work for Personal Branding
Céline Van Ouytsel has built her brand around a strong visual identity. Her cars are an extension of that. The Celine Van Ouytsel Black Panther design wrap is a perfect example of this philosophy — a custom design wrap isn’t just about making a vehicle look different, it’s about making a statement that reflects who you are. That’s something we think about seriously at 2wrap.
When we work on projects like this, we start from the person, not just the car. We ask: what story does this need to tell? What feeling should it create? The technical execution matters, but the creative vision comes first. That’s what separates a great design wrap from a great color change.
